Man Of Steel

There’s one word to describe this movie: EPIC!

You really could not expect anything else from Christopher Nolan and Zach Snyder. Yes – it is darker than the other Supermans, but there’s this feeling of super-strength and power that you just can’t hide from…he’s the Superman the world has been waiting for…a man who convinces you that he’s out of this world – and when the need comes, he CAN save it.

Yes – the movie is a little different than the comics, but it’s a Superman movie for the new generations…who maybe aren’t so set in the ways of the comics or don’t even know who Christopher Reeves was. It’s the movie that was missing from the superhero franchises, one that we needed to keep the legacy alive.

And like every movie out there, there was one thing I personally didn’t like….Lois Lane…I wasn’t taken with her acting and there was definitely no chemistry between her and Clark. But what she lacked, Henri Cavill (Superman) made up for together with his two fathers played by Russell Crowe and Kevin Costner.

Overall, The Man of Steel was widely entertaining, beautifully executed and I did not regret paying the $12.25 to see it.
